September 3 @ 8:00 am September 6 @ 5:00 pm

We invite you to the 32nd edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition

The Past Salon gathered 711 exhibitors from 35 countries around the world, including 350 Polish companies. The fair was visited by 61 delegations from 43 countries. The MSPO 2023 exhibition occupied a record area of over 34,000 sq m, and for the first time in history it was also located in an additionally built temporary hall of 2,800 sq m. Almost 26,000 guests came to MSPO 2023.

When we met last year, we said that the 30th edition was the biggest in history. The 31st edition is larger in terms of exhibitor interest and exhibition space. This is undoubtedly our success. Our common success, which serves the defense of the Republic of Poland, but also peace on the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Alliance, said the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, during the opening ceremony of the International Defense Industry Exhibition. These words perfectly summarize MSPO 2023.

And what will the Salon be like in 2024? It will certainly be a place to present the greatest achievements of the arms industry from around the world. There will also be business meetings and contracts concluded between defense sector producers from different continents. For 32 years, in the context of defense industry fairs in Europe, Kielce has been mentioned right after Eurosatory in Paris or the Defense and Security Event organized in London.

Poland’s purchasing plans will certainly have an impact on the offer presented in Kielce in the fall of 2024. In 2024, PLN 113.3 billion is planned to be allocated to defense, which constitutes 3% of GDP forecast for 2024 (PLN 3,778 billion). These expenses include funds included in part 29 of the state budget “National Defense” in the amount of PLN 112.7 billion and PLN 615.4 million in section 752 “National Defense” in other parts of the state budget. Additionally, funds for the implementation of the multi-annual program “Equipping the Polish Armed Forces with tanks” in the amount of PLN 4.8 billion were secured in the special reserve. These funds will be transferred to the Armed Forces Support Fund (FWSZ). Moreover, expenditures of up to approximately PLN 40 billion have been planned from the funds of the Fund (from the income of the Fund, including debt mechanisms) for defense purposes. If these funds are fully used, total defense expenditure in 2024 may reach over PLN 158 billion.
