Turkish defense industry company Asisguard has launched an internal security project in Nigeria. ASISGUARD’s General Manager Mustafa Barış DÜZGÜN says the company has signed a project with Nigeria’s Defense Ministry.
He said the company will ensure the security of a highway between the capital, Abuja, and northwestern Kaduna state, adding: “We will contribute to the security of the region with our stakeholders in Turkey, with the latest indigenous technology systems and products.”
Reconnaissance and surveillance systems, sudden intervention and neutralization systems, command and control systems, and communication and energy infrastructure systems monitoring towers, Turkish-made drones will be provided within the scope of the project, according to Mustafa Barış DÜZGÜN.

Expandable Security
“Once we deliver the products, Turkish products will likely become widespread in this country, where opportunities are even greater.
We provide this project to Nigeria with multiple defence industry companies from Turkey under our integratorship. It is a project we offered as an integrator, some of which are our products and some are from other companies. It contains a wide range of products. We can call this the system of systems,” DÜZGÜN said.
