Enova Robotics PGuard unmanned Ground Vehicle

The United States will import fifty security robots from Tunisian company Enova Robotics, said US ambassador in Tunis, Joey Hood, stressing his country’s constant readiness to support pioneering project ideas undertaken by young people in the country.

ENOVA Robotics was established in 2014 in Tunisia and specialized in mobile robots development and Artificial Intelligence. The company’s main expertise is autonomous navigation and object/anomaly detection, Autonomous mobile robots and field service robotics applications. Design and manufacturing of new mobile robots and the development of own-brand robots, R&D robotics projects and special robot system design.

The PGuard unmanned Ground Vehicle is a rugged security Robot for multi-terrain applications. The robot incorporates a set of infrared cameras, an omni-directional audio acquisition system, thermal camera and a sound and light alarm system. The robot incorporates a GPS to locate in its environment and a laser telemetry system.

The ENOVA Robotics PGuard unmanned Ground Vehicle was used to patrol the alleys of Habib Bourguiba Avenue in support of the enforced lockdown by the Tunisian Ministry of Interior to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
