Türkiye headquartered flight simulator solution provider and manufacturer HAVELSAN announced that within the framework of the Turkish Airlines Simulator Purchase Program, HAVELSAN has completed the Factory Acceptance Test for Turkish Airlines’s first A320 Full Flight Simulator and initiated the Site Acceptance Test (SAT). In parallel, the Factory Acceptance Test for the second HAVELSAN-manufactured Turkish Airlines A320 FFS is already being conducted. HAVELSAN previously signed a contract with Turkish Airlines for the procurement of a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs and Boeing 737 Max full flight simulators (FFS) and FTDs.
While the SAT is in progress, HAVELSAN will embark on the EASA Certification of its simulator as with the EASA approval, all of the HAVELSAN-manufactured full flight simulators will be EASA certified including the Boeing B737NG and Boeing B737MAX. With these state-of-the-art simulators, the pilots will receive their training in simulators that are indistinguishable from real aircraft and highly reliable.
Over the last few months of 2023, HAVELSAN achieved several significant milestones as it ramps up its activities to support airlines and pilot training organizations including the EASA certification of two Boeing B737MAX full flight simulators, along with announcing the opening of a new Turkish Airline Training Center within HAVELSAN’s premises.
As one of the biggest simulator manufacturer companies, HAVELSAN relentlessly completes simulator deliveries in line with its customers’ needs and rapidly responds to the increasing demand for simulator training. The company is currently actively seeking additional airline or training centre operators to share information about its products and the unique offering that it can provide.
