Zeel AI, an innovative defense manufacturing startup
with a track record of success, is making waves at the 2nd African Air Force Forum, a pivotal
gathering of air force and military leaders from more than 30 nations.
The event serves as a
platform for in-depth discussions on cutting-edge defense technology. Under the theme
“Adapting Air Force Capabilities and Drone Employment to Modern Conflicts,” Zeel AI has been
granted a guest participant status and is set to unveil its groundbreaking line of loitering
munitions, designed to enhance precision and flexibility in air force operations.
Zeel AI’s advanced loitering munitions offer air forces the unparalleled ability to engage enemy targets with pinpoint accuracy while minimizing collateral damage. These state-of-the-art systems boast a customizable operational range of up to 250 kilometers, a payload capacity of up to 10 kilograms, and a maximum altitude of 6,500 meters.
With a flight endurance of up to 2.5 hours and an average speed of 75 km/h, these AI-driven munitions feature non-jammable,
GPS-independent navigation, ground control station command and control integration, multiple
mobile launcher options, and a decentralized architecture designed to eliminate single points of failure. Their effectiveness has been proven in real battle scenarios.
Zeel AI places a strong emphasis on software capabilities, enabling fully autonomous system
operation. Their expertise in AI, visual navigation, remote operations, and advanced RF
capabilities empowers their systems to execute precise and effective strikes against a wide
range of targets. Additionally, the airframes and composite materials offer extended endurance,
operational range, and adaptable payload capacity, depending on the configuration.
In a landscape where maintaining costly, complex, and resource-intensive defense platforms poses significant challenges due to financial and human resource constraints, the need for rapidly integratable solutions is paramount. Recognizing the unique security challenges faced
by African nations, Zeel AI is committed to offering a combination of cutting-edge and
cost-effective solutions, expanding access to advanced defence technologies for countries with limited defense budgets.
Zeel AI’s success is underscored by secured industry contracts and field-tested autonomous
systems, capturing the attention of defense experts and military decision-makers at the event.
In addition to the groundbreaking loitering munitions, Zeel AI is also showcasing its advanced
radar system, the Zeel MR20.
Engineered to provide real-time situational awareness and
enhance the effectiveness of air defense operations, this battle-tested radar system has been
contracted by several end users. With its cost-effective, compact, and highly mobile design, it
can be installed on a standard pickup or operated by two individuals remotely. The Zeel MR20 offers remote configuration, data exchange, monitoring, and diagnostics, immune to narrow-band interference, and can be rapidly deployed within 10 minutes. It boasts an impressive operational radius of 50 kilometers, the ability to detect over 100 air targets simultaneously, and an update rate of less than 3 seconds.
