Proforce Limited has unveiled PF Fury, ultra-light combat vehicle, at the Nigerian Army Research and Development (R&D) exhibition held in Owerri, Imo State on 6 July 2022.
The exhibition was part of events commemorating the 2022 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL). The event welcomed top dignitaries including the Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd) as special guest of honour, representing the President and Commander in Chief, Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. LEO Irabor, Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Faruk Yahaya, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Amao, Chief of Defence Intelligence, Maj. Gen. Adebayo and many very senior officers. Other dignitaries present at the event include Former Chief of Army Staff, who is now the current Ambassador to Republic of Benin, Lt. Gen. Buratai (retd), Former Minister of Interior, Gen. Dambazau (retd).
Proforce, which is leading new frontiers in the defence industry in Nigeria was among about 45 other exhibitors, including Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), NASENI, The Nigerian Airforce, The Nigerian Navy and many others who had on display innovative products that will aid the military provide effective solutions to numerous security issues facing the country.
The PF Fury is an ultra-Light Combat Vehicle designed to cater to the need of the Nigerian Armed Forces Infantry and Special Operation Forces. This innovative design has been praised for its modular design that makes it adaptable to various mission and, more crucially. The indigenous company notes that it is always innovative with its strategy and continues to create crucial defence solutions for unmatched protection.
Proforce’s line of products now includes the PF Ara MRAP, PF Wizard APC, PF-2 APC, PF Viper, and PF Fury.
Proforce also had on display, The PF Viper, a Toyota Land Cruiser with 360-degree armoured protection.
Last year, Proforce also unveiled the PF Viper 4×4 tactical mobility vehicle for small combat team. PF Viper was unveiled when by the Nigerian Army Chief of Army Staff on Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, and several delegates visited Proforce facility.
